| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine a selective learning environment regarding how to challenge records through a high jump class for 36 （19 boys and 17 girls） 6th grade elementary school children. A unit of learning for high jump that introduced a selective learning environment was practiced five times. In the first half of the unit, learning activities were practiced by acquiring a rhythmic approach and challenging the target record using a nomogram. In the second half of the unit, learning activities were practiced by selecting the approach technique （five- or seven-step approach） and the method of goal setting （nomogram or a quick reference table showing percentages for height）. Results indicated the following. 1．The high jump class that introduced a selective learning environment in this study was effective in increasing motivation and interest in learning high jump. 2．It is desirable to introduce both seven-step and five-step approaches when teaching the technique for high jump approach, and to enable learners to select the approach technique that suits them best. 3．It is desirable to use both a quick reference table showing percentages for height and nomograms to set goals for high jump, and to encourage learners to use the goal setting method that best suits them. |
