Construction of a residential area on the north side of the col-lapsed embankment slope changed the traditional basin boundary, revealing that a very large amount of rainwater in-filtrated the embankment and collapsed. The signs of this collapse may have begun in 2019.\nIn the future, a joint project between the Sabo Department of the Water and Disaster Management Bureau and the Urban Safety Division of the City Bureau will be launched within the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and a comprehensive survey will be conducted on high embankments with a height of 5 m or more to identify dangerous areas.
