| 内容記述 | Geogrid reinforcement is applied in Japan as reinforcement for castle stone walls, which are important cultural assets. However, when design calculations are performed using conventional methods, the geogrids are so long that the ground behind the stone wall must be excavated, which has a significant impact on the environment surrounding the stone wall. In this case, since the conventional methods only considers the effect of tensile reinforcement of geogrid, the previous findings by researchers were analized and reevaluated. Then it was confirmed that the soilbag (solpak) is highly effective in reinforcing stone wall and a reasonable cross-sectional shape could be achieved by incorporating the method of the geotextile-confined soil wall which is a practical application of the soilbag theory. | |||||||||||
