| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to focus on the difference in E-score between Japanese and Taiwanese pommel horses, and to consider the possible physical characteristics as the cause.The subjects were 42 (19 Japanese athletes, 23 Taiwanese athletes) and the age group at the end of the secondary growth period (18 years or older when bone growth was almost completed). The height, reach, and sitting height of the subject were measured, and the ratio of reach to height (arm length÷height×100) and the ratio of reach to sitting height (sitting height÷height×100) were calculated from the obtained data. However, a comparison was made between the players from both countries. As a result of the measurement, there was no difference in height and sitting height between the athletes from both countries. On the other hand, the reach of Taiwanese players was longer than that of Japanese players. In addition, the reach for height and the reach for sitting height were also significantly higher for Taiwanese athletes. When the ratio of reach to height and the ratio of reach to sitting height were compared, a significant difference was found in both values. The result was that Taiwanese players had a longer reach for height and longer reach for sitting height than Japanese players. The longer reach of Taiwanese athletes for height and sitting height compared to Japanese athletes is thought to suggest differences in physical characteristics between athletes from both countries. Looking only at the figures in this study, it is possible that Taiwanese athletes are more suitable for the pommel horse than Japanese athletes. In addition, it was suggested that the length of reach may be related to the high E-score of Taiwanese players and one of the reasons for receiving high evaluation from the referees. |
