| 内容記述 | This study examined the relationships between English self-efficacy, collaborative mindsets, academic help-seeking behaviors, and favorability toward the use of a learning management system (LMS). To this end, it explored the impact of online practice exercises on English self-efficacy and LMS favorability among Japanese university students learning English as a foreign language. This study used a pretest-posttest questionnaire design, and 142 study participants engaged in two types of classes: lecture-dialogic classes and hybrid instructional models with online practice exercises. The results showed weak to moderate relationships between the factors. A repeated measures analysis of variance indicated a significant increase in LMS favorability over time, although English self-efficacy remained largely unchanged. Implications for learning environments promoting English self-efficacy through the use of digital tools are discussed. | |||||
