| 内容記述 | The exhibition room of the Institute for Cultural Studies of Ancient Iraq, Kokushikan University, with the storeroom and the office room, is kept open to visiting researchers and students. Major activities are to set up and run exhibitions and the maintenance management of facilities and the storeroom. In the exhibition room, two and more exhibitions were held in every fiscal year. But in fiscal year 2020, due to the influences of the COVID-19, it was not possible to carry out any exhibition activities in the exhibition room. An alternative to the exhibition activities was to publish previous exhibition reviews on the Institute’s website. We are also working on the translation and compilation of an English-language book on the destruction of cultural heritage caused by the Iraq war, which will be published before the end of this fiscal year. Ongoing activities of our institute also include an air environment research and temperature and humidity monitoring of the exhibition room and the storeroom, and the data thus obtained are being used to improve environmental conditions. |
