| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to clarify the influence of spin efficiency on pitching ability among high school baseball players. As a result, it was revealed a correlation between vertical break and spin efficiency in fastballs, highlighting their significance in generating effective pitches. Furthermore, no relationship was found between strike rates and spin efficiency, suggesting diverse factors affecting pitch control. Given that higher spin efficiency correlates with reduced gyro degree, conscious consideration of the spin axis in fastball will lead to pitches with more extension. Consequently, understanding the role of spin axis and spin efficiency in pitching may contribute to improve in pitching ability. |
