The subjects were 24 female Kendo players. The all subjects were performed SHOMEN DATOTSU motion. SHOMEN DATOTSU motion immediately after the turned-on LED was recorded by high-speed camera. The reaction time, motion time, time of foot release on ground, and time of swing start were extracted in all subjects. A significant correlation was observed between reaction time and motion time in all subjects. The kendo players with the fastest reaction time had the knee joint flexion as the initial motion. In addition, the time of swing start and the time of release the right foot and left foot were earlier. Furthermore, there was a significant correlation between time of foot release on ground and the time of the swing start. From these results, it was cleared that characteristics of female Kendo players with fast reaction time in SHOMEN DATOTSU motion. And, it was suggested that coordination of upper and lower limb movements is important skill for short time in SHOMEN DATOTSU motion., 1520574334801883648, application/pdf},
