| 内容記述 | Part one of this paper reviews various methods of using drawing in ESL classes at an Art University and asses the successful results and shortfalls of using drawing to learn a second language. The second part of the paper looks at one of the methods, called 'Writing Pictures' and its use in ESL classes with students majoring in subjects not usually associated with the visual arts. The drawing exercises have been carried out at universities in Japan. The participants were male and female students and the illustrations, unless otherwise stated, were made by the students. | |||||
