The percentage of goals with respect to all goals scored, the number of successful attacks, the number of technical errors, the percentage of successful shots, and the percentage of technical errors were calculated. The number of successful shots, the percentage of successful attacks, and the percentage of technical errors in each match served as predictors of a win.\n　The percentage of successful attacks by European and Japanese teams differed significantly (80.1 ± 3.9% for European teams vs. 72.9 ± 4.8% for Japanese)．Japanese and Asian teams had a significantly higher percentage of technical errors (27.1% for Japanese teams, 25.5% for Asian teams) compared to European teams (19.9%)．The percentage of successful shots by different teams did not differ significantly.
