| 内容記述 | The Utstein database is a nationwide database of reports of out-hospital cardiopulmonary arrest cases in Japan. The large-scale Utstein-template database requires precision management. There is only one report concerning the nationwide Utstein database that described data errors. The purpose of this study was to find the proportion of error occurrence and the possibility of data-error recovery in the Utstein-database. Three intervals, from emergency call to 119 to patient contact (call-contact) and to hospital (call-hospital), and from witness of an onset to emergency call, were calculated from among 115,250 cases in the nationwide Utstein database in 2009. Data were changed under two conditions: time data of year, month, day and hour were changed in cases of simple mistyping, and orders were changed in cases of inconsistent time-series order. Of all cases, 0.26% were outliers in intervals of call-contact and call-hospital. It seemed that the distribution of changed outliers and the rest of the data were similar in both intervals of call-contact and call-hospital, but statistically different. We concluded that we have to take care regarding time-series data as there are outlier variables which can be found by calculating time intervals. |
