| 内容記述 | On October 5, 2015, twelve Pacific Rim countries reached broad agreement on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) at the TPP ministerial meeting of Atlanta, the US after five years of negotiation. Through this agreement, there comes into being a possibility of building of the World's largest free trade zone in the world, covering a population of 800 million and 40 percent of world GDP. The TPP goes beyond traditional Free Trade Agreement (FTA), and its deals cover liberalization in a variety of fields such as intellectual property, labor, environment, small and medium-sized enterprises, financial services, competition policy, dispute settlement, transparency and anti-corruption. Compared to WTO, it could be said this economic agreement is more ambitious, comprehensive, and balanced one. The basic TPP agreement has attracted a lot of interest from the Chinese government and researchers, giving rise to a lot of discourse and perspectives from various viewpoints among them. In this paper, the author would arrange discourses at the present stage on the TPP from four views: the US conspiracy view, pessimistic view, alliance and counteroffensive attack view, and deepening structural reform view. He also considers China’s policy responses regarding the TPP. |
