<dc:description>Emerging of informatics technologies has stimulated the development of electrical insulation materials. Electrical insulation is a key technology of electrical apparatuses in power and industrial sectors. In particular, electrical insulation materials play important roles in electrical apparatuses, and the material characteristics affect whole performance of the apparatuses. Applications of the informatics technologies are effective approach to tailor new electrical insulation materials with desired properties such as excellent insulation breakdown strength, high thermal conductivity, and environmental friendliness. The technologies seem to expand in the development of electrical insulation materials rapidly. Thus, the paper provides research trends of electrical insulation material development using informatics technologies.</dc:description>
